Around a home in Sinmu-dong, Daegu,
we visited to handle weed control
and exterior cleanup.
This is a site we usually maintain consistently
at intervals of about three weeks,
but because there had been some rain this time,
we returned after just two weeks.
This Sinmu-dong, Daegu site
had a layout that required us to work along the walkway beside the house,
on the sloped ground,
and beneath the trees as well.
Grass was coming up here and there on the slope,

Work Details
First, we checked the overall condition
starting from the area close to the walkway,
then used a mower to cut everything low.
On sloped ground, footing is not
as comfortable as on flat ground,
so instead of pushing through too quickly,
we worked slowly and carefully by section.
Under the trees,
there were areas where it was awkward for the mower blade to reach,
and around the stone retaining wall,
we had to work carefully to avoid hitting the stones.
This job mainly focused on the area around the home
and weed control on the slope,
and since the grass had not grown too much yet,
we proceeded by lowering everything neatly overall.
During the work, some sections were cleared first
while plants still remained around them,
so we divided the area into zones and moved through them in order.
At this stage,
it is much easier later on
if the height is kept under control through repeated maintenance
rather than cutting everything deeply at once.

Finishing Up
After everything was completed,
the grass and weeds on the slope had been cut low,
and the outline of the ground became visible again.
The stones and shape of the slope,
which had initially been hidden by grass,
also became relatively clear after the work.
Around the stone retaining wall and on the slope beneath the deck,
once the grass height was lowered,
the exterior of the home looked much more orderly.
Because we visited again after two weeks this time,
we were able to bring the site under control
before the weeds spread significantly.
For sites that are maintained regularly,
the work takes less time than places left unattended,
and the finished result also looks much more stable.
